Legendary [Stable] Revision 1752 - Gastricpenguin
Core Rev 1752
Created by Gastricpenguin

This is a build i compiled and edited myself. I shall continue to make my own revisions,
but will greatly appreciate any tips or suggestions for newer revisions.

This core i developed is a simple core that will work with the latest build of WoW.
This Core is also compatibly with many of the Db's out there currently.
I will also be developing the ultimate Funserver DB (along with Julian) that will be the best combination with this core.

NOTE: All of my Revisions, map files, dbcs, and any other important Server files can be found in my Filebeam Folder here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Please take a look at the following before starting up your server.
-- Although the config files have changed, you still need to edit them!
-- Where you would normally see "change_me_logon" or "change_me_root", i have edited the files and manually added a password on both configs, so you do not have to change it. It is now the default pass of "Detonation"
-- MaxClient build has been set to 7272 (2.2.0 Wow's current build)

Aight, i need some suggestions on what to improve for Rev 1760.
ive fixed many start up bugs and created my own initialization scripts.

hm im not really sure gastric but i know after i run the ascent.exe i get some GM_debug error after i log on to the server..not sure if something is wrong with my configs or if its something in the rev it does it on the rev julian posted with his repack 5 as well but does not do it on any other rev i can post a pic of it if you want

the scripts im runing are the ones that came in the rev you posted here last night if thats what you mean but here is the pic



this happen after i did .gmon and tried to enter The Black Temple..but would not let me in

This has to do with worldmapinfo in your sql DB

BT is designed to allow groups that are in a raid to enter. Some instances require an actual raid group and not just .gmon.

You may need to update your DB.

alright i'll look into updating my DB and see if that helps

I also forgot to add that it did the same thing just runing around in stormwind last night....but thanck for the info gastric..i would repyou again if i could but apparently i gota spread some more love around lol

I get this error once I start Ascent.exe

It says:

Server has crashed. Reason was :
An Acess Violation at 0x004C46BA

Could anyone help me? Thanks in advance .

Check your Mysql server and your configuration files. Did you edit "Detonation" ?

Also what do you mean by MySQL Server?

Should I post my confs since nothing seems to work? I still get that error btw.

I would like it if you would upload your files and send me the link, posting them here would take up alot of space.

Also, make sure your Mysql server is up and running and you can access it through navicat or your SQL editing program.
