Ah yeah same thing happened to me, I just tried later in the day. Also my download rate was REALLY slow until around 10PM GMT or so. Wonder where they keep the server..

tering, just navigate to your WoW folder, then data, then the enUS folder if your in the US and then open realmlist.wtf with notepad and put a # infront of everything and add "set realmlist 127.0.0.1" at the top.
But I still have yet to login >.< I have the server running but when I put in the username and password at the top of the logon config file it says its wrong. What username and password do I use?

Is that the correct way to have it?

Well I set the patchlist to 127.0.0.1 too, but that's probably not the problem here.
Just to check, you are running version 9551 right? And you are running the two arcemu programs before starting up WoW right (it doesn't mention that in the guide which threw me off too :P)
Ah I figured that out, but thanks Quiet. Nice guide now that I can use it correctly ^_^ I still have a problem though with the instances. For some reason we can't go to the lvl 80 naxxramas I port us to "Naxxramas" but it is the lvl 60 version. Any ideas?
And tering, you need to have a # infront of the things u want to comment out, but you definitely do not need a "#" infront fo the set realmlist 127.0.0.1 line.

My WoW folder kinda screwed up i downgrade to 3.0.9 and i can play on it but in my folder it still shows 3.1 update file should i delete it or did I downgrade rong? and btw what did you mean with that other stuff? I don'tr really know how to start my own server the right Way I asked here already ones but I dind't get replyedy to it thanks for the help though

The 3.1 update in your WoW folder doesn't matter, keep it in case you want to patch the game someday. You can find out if you downgraded right by right-clicking on the Wow.exe and then pressing properties.
Under the version tab it should say "3.0.9.9551"
The other files will be in your server folder, called arcemu-logonserver.exe and arcemu-world.exe. (The icons are of a nurse and an emu, god knows why)
Obviously one takes care of the accounts, and one takes care of the game world. Both need to be running before you start up WoW.

Achk i get the error when i try to run the 2 programs: This application has failed to start becuas LIBEAY32.dll was not found.

Oke Now when I start wow (thanks for the help of how to start up ) if i put in my account name and pass it all goes good but then he says i need to restart to patch xD its was 3.0.9.9551 right? and my realmlist is: #set realmlist 127.0.0.1

Unknown database
As far as I know I did everything correctly, but when I try to start up my server it says
"Connection failed due to: Unknown database 'world'"
"Connection failed due to: Unknown database 'logon'"
I'll work on trying to fix it, but i have no clue what I'm doing ^^
EDIT: Fixed that problem. 1 more though. My DBC folder was empty- whenever I run the DBC extractor in my WoW folder it comes out empty. Any idea why? Thanks!
