i can connect and play fine.. but no 1 else can they get stuck at connecting then cant connect! i have fowarded my ports.. if anyone knows of other ports and something i might of done wrong please tell me. im trying to get it public.

I get an error, when I extract the repack.
It says:
Some files are corrupt.
Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation.
I made this, but I get the same error.

There is plenty of tutorials out there to make your server public, you don't have to use your real ID, but a free domain name. If you mean how to change your IP, you have to switch over your internet cable, but that's off-topic.
Have you done all the DNS stuff and made your server public?

Try to redo the extraction stuff, or re-install the repack. If it doesn't work, compile your own core or use another database.

When I try to run ad.exe I get an error saying "The application has failed to start because its side-to-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the event log for more detail." Anyone have a solution?

Great guide, only provided what is really necessary to get a basic server online which is all a lot of people want. Luckily I'm smart enough to know how to get Navicat running myself even though you said there is apparently a DBE included.

After I extracted the maps back to the ArcEmu folder, I start SQL perfectly fine, but when I try to start Logonserver it gives me an error saying connection failed due to 'unknown database 'characters' ' Anything you know of?
