Question about the server
hey i gotta question about how to make the server my own like u said we could do in your thread just by changing one of the file's to our own ip address but when i went and did that it said that user@localhost cannont connect to server.... and is there a way to edit the layout of warcraft to where not all the npc's are in orgamar like i can move them to say undercity or northrend and also i've noticed that not many of the quest work do i have to edit something in the files to change this to get them to work i've been trying to get my friends on myserver of WoW but i need to get it to my ip address somehow before it'll allow them to connect

I've followed all the directions to the letter, but when I finally get to the log on screen and I put in 'admin' as both the username and PW, it says it can't connect to the WoW server.

I'm pretty sure you configure the account table in navicat to setup wotlk. You need to give it another number... Just can't remember which one it is :P
anyway, plus rep, when i've tested it to see it's working

aright.......server your own..... all u had to do was go to the realm config scroll down and rename it :P i have no idea what your talking about with some layout yea....some quests dont work ... but its a funserver you make your own quests! and to make it public....your gonna need to read another guide......i made this guide to show new comers how to make a private server quickly and easily lol .... but its easier if you just download hamachi and have your friends download hamachi and change the ip stuff in your config files thats what i do ... cause i suck at making it public and i dont like to make it public...too much stress lol
