Sorry to waste your time again, and what you told me fixed everything thanks. Now i can logon and see the realmlist, but I cant access the server, it'll stop on success or "Loading characters..." then go back to the realm list, not sure what I'm doing wrong

Btw, +rep, although i haven't figured it out yet, its a great guide and very easy to follow, the only reason i can't get it to work is due an error i made.

Try to just keep pressing enter, it usually takes a bit for the server to realize that the host is trying to connect.

Ok ive got everything set up for my hamachi server but i keep getting an error in the world and logonserver batches that my hamachi IP is like access denied. Ive looked at my logonserver.conf but it doesnt say how to open it up to allow all IPs...help plz?

I don't think anyone knows what Optional means.

Only do the first step, and after you start-up your server, and nothing is working, THEN do the optional part.

I've successfully set up the server but I can't seem to talk to npcs (means I can't buy items or get quests)! Is there something I might have missed?

Hm. Try reinstalling the repack. (if you compiled it yourself I would say get a new/updated DB and recompile your core)

Hej!
Ty for the great thread, but i got a prob.. It all worked, but ma server is offline.. When i open WoW and logging in, it can't load the realm list.. Can u please tell me whats wrong ? ^^

NAVI CAt problem help
Ok The guy who wrote this left a few things out abuot navi cat :l so im gonna help u i no im a noob and stuf but yeah.

Any way the first thing he left out was a that to connect to NAVICAT your password has to be panex This is because your connecting through panex (The repack server thingy :l)

secondley you have to open ur panex control pannel and click networking Then "My SQL Start"


Thats about it for the navicat bit try that it should work

Oh btw its a good guide
