Hi, this is my guide on how to get your World of Warcraft Private server1 off of the devil program HAMACHI!!!

During this Guide Im gonna be changing all the types of texts sizes and colors because I know how it is to just be looking at a wall of little gray words so Im gonna make this exciting and fun WoOt!

Ok lets Start........
First go here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
After that you are gonna want to make an account for your host..... Once you sign up and got all of that done. Go to Services on the top toolbar

4 different dns services should pop up

the one you want is Dynamic Dns

Once you have that open click on get started and get started lawl.
Enter in all your hostname info that you want
REMEBER TO CHECK WILDKARD!!!!!

Once all of that is done go to run on your computer wherever it is ...
then type in cmd

a box should pop up. The box is black and stuff kinda looks like your ascent programs or what ever you are running on, but lets move on pass the box

once that is open type in

ipconfig

after that a bunch of numbers should pop up you want to find the default gateway or something like tht

go into your internet provider and type in your ip adresss
another box should pop saying you need to login the stuffis

admin
admin

once that is done you need to go to port forwarding and since Im awesome Im gonna tell you exaclty where to put them

you should see like a start and end the numbers go like this

start end
1234 1234

Get the Idea? Goood

now do that with all these numbers

3724
8085
80
3306
8129
8093
6112
6881-6999
8050
3036

once that is done go into computer

then local c disk

then windows

then system 32

then drivers

then etc

then the hosts thing on the left top corner

you want it to look like this

You want to put your internal ip under that and the host name under the localhost and just delete the ::1 and local host

under that go back to that litttle black box there should be something called externail ip you put the external under that one and the host under the host above it and change all the stuff you did to get it hamachi and guess what


YOUR OFF OF HAMAHCI AND NOT A NOOOB ANY MORE

OooOoMG..questionz! i am a NUBZ1 soooOOO will doignthis allow me..to not have to have my god damn pc on allll Day to have my server active? if not.. wheeere would i do somethign to make it happen wihtout me needing to be on. or is it a Must beeecause. manGos has to run ...to be server

no you have to keep all the programs basically the host is your external and internal ip in disguise lol, so its running via with your computer which allows you to log off hamachi and have the server on BE AWARE YOU WILL HAVE A NEW DATABASE IM MAKING A GUIDE ON HOW TO MAKE A ACCOUNT PAGE AND A VOTING PANEL K

You left something out; Not everybody can port forward. Only those connected to the internet through a router can port forward.

My friend can log in to my server but when he's about to choose realm it just sends him back to the realmlist again. In other words, he can't join the realm and create a character.

I found this uber easy to fix very basic just change the port Ill write out a guide for ya its pretty simple

definetly as long as you can get to the port forwarding you are good and its better if you dont even have too

Am I missing something, or do you really not have to edit any config files? If that is so, can you explain why this still works?

yep you go into all the config files and change either the localhost, 127.0.0.1 or your hamachi ip to the host that you made during the giude
