Welcome. In this tutorial we are going
to get an id of a weapon off thottbot.

First go to thottbot. lets just go find a random
weapon, I will choose Bow of Searing Arrows.



Then go down and click on the 3D Viewer.



Then you will want to look at the bottom of the viewer and hover over Embed.



You will want to scroll all the way through the code untill you find text that says
model=######
Its near the end.



And that is the displayID you will use for your Weapon/NPC/Item.

On wowhead.com you can do... nearly the same with NPCs so it should work on thottbot too, in this way
