Sometimes when you download a
[Release] it will have the Mysql files so that you will not need to use software like Navicat. In order to be able to edit those files you will need to be able to move the files into your Mysql folder. By doing so your software will pick up the folders and files as if you had created them through the software.
Steps:
1: Open the folder with of your [Release].
2: Move to the folder labeled Mysql,Server (I'm unable to determine the name it would be somewhat different with every [Release])
3: Inside the Mysql folder all you will really need is the data folder. So look for that and open it.
4: Now any folder inside that has the database information you want to change you will need to hold onto for the next step.
5: Now open up your main drive that contains the location you installed Mysql to. Open up the Mysql folder and then make your way to the data folder. (Usually C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\data)
6: Now taking the files you found in your [Release] folder (From Step 1-4) and copy them into your data folder for the Mysql software (From Step 5).
7: Now when you start your software (Navicat,etc) it will load the folder(s) under your current/future connection.
