You could make gms pay for what they buy with gm tokens, then they could make the gm tokens on their own, this makes it much easier to buy gear, but also keep it safe.

WoW heres an idea just add a area that requires special model files, like you used to do in the old private servers for old outland. Then just give the gm's the teleport locations, hackers cant get there with out the model files. Its that simple, just make sure that the server has the same map file.

actualy, i know a perfect place to put it, since most hackers have BC, this place will be perfect. make a GM account only make it non-BC. go on it and fly to where silvermoon is supposed to b. it will take u to this rocky land. now port another gm there and have him stay htere while u switch to ur main account. note its a BC account. have him port u there and begin building ur mall. then just leave a char there at all times. when a hacker trys to find the mall and they fly to silvermoon they just hit silvermoon. and ul b able to have a mall

that wouldnt work because a non BC account will not connect to a BC server. Not to mention anyone with BC would be able to see the mall.

Well when you enter an instance, some parts of the world outside is still there. So you could just make a mall outside an instance

for example: enter zul'gurub, fly upwards and then fly north over the mountains and make your mall in duskwood or something. But this version of duskwood is "inside" Zul'gurub, and I don't think any hacker will know where too look unless someone reveals the spot. And you could also have it in any remote instance, like razorfen kraul or w/e

I just made that char to create those pictures, so I see no reason to hide the name Hope this helps, but I think that .additem is the best mall you can have, but I just added this for those who really wants a mall

Simply solution guys , make a new mark, that only GM's can get. then have a vendor with all the other ones, and just make it so they need the mark to buy the GM armor! Heh, annoys the crap out of players

just put a vendor hidden in emrald dream or somet with about 6 guards around it that hit 100k then if they do find it they still wont be able to get close to it

switch npc hexes with wpe and a hacker can reach your vendor from anywhere in the world after he's been there once or someone supplies him with the hex id... or he just find it somehow (I think there's an addon that could) anyway the best place I've found for a "gm island" is an instance. Change entry to zul'aman to gm only and make it in there. No one can tele their way into your gm instance.

GM's can choose not to die also hackers could speed hack there way there so that there water doesnt go down and then just steady buy, if they die just rez and go for another run.

I've never been a GM for a really high populated server so I've never really had to deal with them but if you get enough people that you have hackers most likely when they go to the GM Mall there will be a GM or Admin there that can see who they are and ban their ass if they're hacking!

Btw good job on the guide I never really make a GM Mall I usually just make a mall for all my players but try to not give them everything.

Edit: Also i think theres a teleport hack don't hold me too hit but i think just like gms they can type in the map id x y and z and then teleport there so even if you have guards they may have time to get somthing.

You can try Developers island though your GMS must get the model edit then plop ther no hacker would think to go there if not back up by making it in the sky very well with factioned gaurds all around and make GMS a main "GM" faction tis is how i do it on my old server...

a good place for it might be the cube shaped room in wow that most people use for a jail because the only way i know to get in there is to port there
