I came into here expecting good locations to put malls xD. I personally like having servers with malls, just because i think its more fun, because i used to play real wow, and that got boring so i need something different.

What about making a pet a vendor, and limiting the item that summons that pet to GMs? Then they can have their overpowered stupid GM gear wherever they want,
+ they can give it to their friends, which we all know most private server GMs do...

The worst thing u can do is that you make a mall and "hide" it, and make an online map on the servers page...

The solution I have for this is very easy but I'm not sure if it works for ascent, it does however work perfectly for mangos:

Make all the vendors faction 14 (Hostile towards everything) and when you're GM flagged all the vendors will be interactable since they have a vendor flag and become friendly to you when you have GM on.

And again, as i said, this works on mangos but I'm not sure about ascent.

Nah, Old Ironforge isn't a good idea as the OP said, Hackers can get anywhere.

But really the only good mall is a non-gm mall. Besides if your GM's are too lazy to spawn their own crap why should they be GM's?

Well where I have my GM vendors its in EOTS on top of one of the moving meteors with .mod faction 60 and to around 900,000 damage a hit along with guards that do even more.. so the only way you can get there is to be invisible or be faction modded by a gm

Usually, they'd always be in GM island if you happen to become GM on the server.
