I discovered that casting a resurrection spell on an NPC will set the creatures Health and Mana to the values described in the spell.
In order to cast a resurrecting spell on an NPC, you need to replace a spell that can be cast, this works specifically well with priests because they have Mind Vision, witch can be cast on pretty much anything.
To replace the spells download the Modified Version of WPE and set it up to target WoW.
Once thats done download the attached filter and load it into WPE and tick the spell replacement for your class.
Now the spell has been replaced, go to WoW and attempt to cast the replaced spell (rank 1) on a hostile NPC.
(Tested on wowscape)
PS: This works especially well with the death glitch.

My Post on Deathsoft.com on how to make this work:
(Originally posted on Tuesday January 15th, 2008)
I hope this helps anyone else with WPE/AcedXX/WPE Pro modified(I use AcedXX):
1. Open WPE/AcedXX/WPE Pro modified
2. Open WoW
3. Run PermEDIT -> Grant access to wow.exe & WPE/AcedXX/WPE Pro modified .exe's
4. Target WoW.exe with WPE/AcedXX/WPE Pro modified
5. Double click Filter 1 to create new filter
6. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
7. Search for your rez skill, eg; I'm a pally, I search for Redemption
8. Search for the skill you want to replace, eg; I'm a pally, I want to replace Hammer of Justice
9. The numbers at the top of the adress bar on the end = the spell ID, eg; [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - Spell ID for Redemption = 20773
10. Repeat for the spell you want to replace(in my case, hammer of justice - spellID 10308)
11. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
12. Type in your spell ID -> click "to hexadecimal"(I used HoJ spellID -> changed to 2844 in hex)
13. Repeat for your rez skill
14. Once you have both, go back WPE/AcedXX/WPE Pro modified
15. Your filter window should already be open, if not, double click on a filter to create a new filter.
16. At the top you should see 2 fields under offset, SEARCH and MODIFY
17. I'm a paladin, so under the SEARCH field at offset 07 and 08 I put 44 28(hammer of justice rank 4 spell id converted to hex(28 44 swapped)
18. Under the MODIFY field at offset 07 and 08, I put A0 1C(redemption rank 1 spell id converted to hex (1C A0 swapped)
19. It should look like this(paladin) - offset 07 08
----------------
SEARCH 44 28
MODIFY A0 1C
20. Name it whatever you want, hit apply, check the filter on the left and hit ON right above filter 1.
Now when in-game, when you click to cast the spell you replaced, for me its Hammer of Justice, It will cast the rez spell you switched it to, for me redemption.
Confirmed to work on my server, I don't wanna say which in fear of being banned. But we ran illidan 5 times, everytime I used it on any mob in BT, reduced their hp to 1%.
I really hope this helps, If someone could post pics of this process, it would help these guys alot.

hmm, think about it for a second man. casting ressurect on a mob brings their health down to 70. your average level 1 mob doesnt even have 70 HP, so its not gonna do anything to them.
I keep trying to extract the files in the .rar but every time I do BitDefender2008 classifies it as a Trojan and deletes everything... Could anyone help?
+rep to author either way!

For Retradins, use Crusader Strike instead of HoJ.
