Ok so everyone knows what a fire rogue is, someone with 1 or 2 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], depending on what the realm has the item listed as (unique or not, main hand or 1h, sometimes realms change it up a bit), and also with a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], then stacked with druid spell damage gear so each hit hits for the normal hit, then also 1k or more fire damage.
However, many people don't know fire pallies. It's the same thing with those 2 items, but instead, also has [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. However, I found a NEW item that works on VCNelite.com (haven't tested on any others, please confirm!).
It is perfect for pallies because they can't duel wield like warriors, who could also put a perditioner's blade on. However, it does the same thing, except the difference is, its not when you hit them, its when they hit you! The link is... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
So while you may not hit for much with your melee, and you may waste both your shield AND your weapon on low level items with low stats...
every time you hit them, you deal 1500+ damage in FIRE DAMAGE, which ignores armor, and every time they hit you, they take 500+ damage, depending on the amount of spell damage you have. (Also, it's best to take the talent in the holy tree that increases spell damage by 35% of your intellect), and wear protection gear with full spell damage enchants and gems. You'll be destroying them! Good luck!
Perfect against rogues, which is hard for pallies once they use up their divine shield/divine protection, because with the rogue's 2 fast weps, hell be taking 1k+ every second or two when he hits you.
And I just found a new item that I HAVEN'T tested yet, link is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Not sure if it will work, I'm guessing yes, because it is practically the same as my friend the shield

its actually not patched on most servers, its just that its hard to get the items, on vcn its easy cuz you can buy the items, BUT on other servers if you get it trust me it WILL work

great guide but just fyi on vcn the whole fire/spell dmg thing works except on the Drillborers disk, i currently have a fire pally with 1264 spell dmg there and i tested the shield out and turns out it only does 6 dmg >>. i have not been able to find the ring though i have looked in the vendors and have ran brd about 8 times and no luck so i think they got rid of it.
Oh, last time I checked on vcn, shield worked, try on other servers, hopefully it works =P good luck! if it was patched on your realm, boo to the creator ;P

Lol, some servers it's patched on, you can't just say "didn't work for me", no DUH, it's not going to work for some people. What would have actually been helpful to this thread would be to say what server it didn't work on....
