This is a pretty useful exploit, for getting skill up.

What you need:
Skinning Profession

Basically, the exploit is, you can skin any creature (even most humanoids). The skinning icon will NOT appear after you kill the creature, you will need to use the Skinning spell from your spellbook.

This will skin the creature, yeilding no drops, however, you WILL gain skill for skinning that creature.

Shops won't give you more skinning skill -_-... this isn't about the skins but the advancing of profession levels.

Hey... You can flame anything! But I dont see the point on flaming here because its very usefull for skilling

Just tested it on ChaosCrusade. They have vendors but was still curious :P

I just couldn't see the point of leveling/using a professions slot on skinning when there are shops that sell leather on most of the big private servers

Thats just funservers, not Blizzlike. If you look at the numbers, Blizzlike servers are 75% of the servers that people actually play on.
