Should you have the proper level (that is 65), there is a way for your character to change faction.

Make your way to the Blade's edge mountains. In the northermost region of the area, Fel Corrupters will drop an item called Damaged Mask.


This item will begin a questline, which will give you the item FELSWORN GAS MASK. Once you equip this item, your reputation with most npcs will become "yellow", and you will be able to use the portals of the opposing faction in Shattrat.


Log out with the item equipped, then back in. Refresh the online list: YOU'RE WITH THE OPPOSING FACTION!

Notes:

Technicalities:
-This has been tested with a human paladin
-My server is running Ascent 4.3

Shortcomings:
-You are able to party-up with the opposing faction but not able to TALK to them (use SKYPE or Teamspeak?)
-Your reputation with them is still hostile, so NPCs will still attack you.

Well get moving, he's been trying to get his hands on one of these for sometime now.
That mask you hold in your hands is a Felsworn gas mask and by the appearance, it's not damaged. The trouble we can cause Forge Camp: Anger is boundless. Are you interested in helping us out, <name>?

Then you lose the mask, and its over, Wildlord Antelarion dont give you the next quest.

Tested with 3 toons, 1 horde, 2 alliance on Ani-wow.

It works (or did 2 weeks ago when I did this quest) at scape. You can actually kill people from your own faction making the use of the mask bannable if reported there so be careful.

I've been doing this for a long time until now with [Corrupted Ashbringer] .It works exactly in the same way but is far more accesible with WEH. Just activate 100%+ speed and fly mode in naxxmaris go in Deathknigts Wing at The Four Horsemans aggro them (all) and run back but let them close to you, but not very close so they won't kill you. If you manage to get them a little far turn back instantly and run at the chest. Loot it and thats all. The mobs will get stucked outside the room .

You lucky, On Aniwow they are so smart, Even the Ashbringer trick isnt working, Im suposed to go at least at -30Stamina with every items.. and Its not going under 0.

If someone can get a working exploit on Aniwow, I'll cheer at you

Can anyone confirm this on mangos?
