I am debatting wether to make wowmafia funserver or highrate.

Please tell me what you would join , a server with instant funserver level 80 cap, or a highrate lvl 75 cap? How much would you put the xp rate at if you owned a server?

I don't want what will market my site better , I really want to know what YOU LIKE TO PLAY best.

Funservers are way better. If you are talking about the "new" funservers with instant 70 and free items, then no way.

i like much costum thing's like item's raid's instance's quest ect.

i think the caps lvl depens on how manny item's u wanna make

not instant max lvl and then buy all your gear thats not fun

Making the max level higher than 70 will result in odd behavior, like negative crit chances. You'll need to mod the core for this :P

Not really spidey. Due to the fact that players can't get negative stats anymore. That is why you change the Genlevelcap in ascent.conf so stats don't go crazy

Yes, but many server owners change both the regular and the GenLevelCap.
Also i've just confirmed this, if you go past level 70 you'll get lower (not negative) chances.

Well seeing as i've leveled 3 lvl 70's on retail i prefer not to go through it so i prefer Fun servers, The server i have had most fun on was HSWoW outside orgrimmar dueling in T6 etc etc on my mage, Increasing my skills and reaction times and its pretty darn fun to boot, these servers with over powered geared and pallys with like 36k HP that two shot you (Sorry wow-legends xD) are just plain boring after the first few hours .

Well i hope i helped you out abit. (So basically i like instant 70 servers with vendors with only blizzard gear in and then PvPing which actually requires skill )

K I made my server highrate. So far highrate is winning.
