How to you think a funserver shall be?

Like wowscape maybe?

with portals to every city, and some custom vendors (Buyable to 4 tier)

Or like Freewow.

With All Channel_49's custom shops.
WarpNPC and all the trainers at 1 places.

Ehh, Honestly... I like Hybrid Servers best, a Hybrid between High Rate and Funserver... But I haven't been on Freewow or WoWScape, so I dunno really!

Both are horrible examples. A funserver should be "fun". It should be loaded with custom content and new features. The servers you speak of are just high rate. They drop every item you need in your hands and it gets repetitive and boring. A funserver shouldn't have Channel_49's vendors either since you don't have to work to get anything. They are used on high rate servers, and putting them on a funserver would defeat the purpose of it. A funserver used to be like AFG, but now the word has been manipulated and people constantly call those highrate pvp instant gratification servers funservers.

I believe funservers should bring something extra, not the usual type of servers who use a repack with stuff from other places.
For a funserver to survive, it needs an edge, it needs that little extra that makes the difference between it and other funservers. It needs to have custom stuff, it needs to be fun.
You first need to see what's your goal, and then you can decide what do you need: Perhaps your server is pvp oriented so everyone starts as level 70 with S3, but then they can aqcuire better gear. Perhaps your server has custom classes, or dual-classing.
The small parts follow the large vision, and not vice versa.
