Im back for more
I've been looking around here, my new favorite site, (only reason for leacher status is because i signed up a couple months ago but never did anything) But i have been stumpped once again. i've looked just about everywhere i can think of and cant find anything on ice block.

My question is, ice block isnt working on my server and i was wondering if there is a fix for this. i cant seem to find one, but i may be looking in the wrong places. Help of anykind would be great

Ok so i redid everything on my server. started completely new, and now, none of my items stay after log off. every time i log in im naked and have no bags/items. only thing i did different was set up another server. i cant remember what guide i used but it told me to copy eveything in my server folder now into another one and with navicat create a new DB and an accounts section so i can have diff toons on each realm. could maybe this be the reason? again any help would be greatly appreciated, cause the sooner i get this up the sooner i start learning

no doubt, I remember having that issue long ago when I first started running my antrix server with the naked characters, I belive it was because it wasn't saving properly to the database whenever I created a character or the items table was empty for loot.

The way I currently have my DB's setup is I use one Logon db for accounts information and then on each realm/world DB i have I have character information saved into that DB in the characters table. It works out nicely since im running multiple realms as well. Make sure your world DB has items populated in it as well as anything with characters showing up naked or not saving gear properly will have to do with the DB and not the rev. Things like skills or abilities or anything really class related will be more with the core.

This is my set-up (DB wise)
Accounts

-ipbans
Realm1DB
-everything besides accounts and ipbans
Realm2DB
-everything besides accounts and ipbans

when i log in, i can see what my character is wearing. (if i did .additemset 671(t6) on my mage and put it on, log out and when i go to log in it shows i have t6 on) but when i get ingame i have nothing on. i also tested putting on a diff item set, so i put on t4 and when i log out it show im wearing t4. i checked out playeritems and it shows i have things, but everything in "container slot" is set at -1. is that right?

<edit> i tried deleteing and resetting up the "playeritem" table on my 2nd realm and i still have the same problem. this all started happening when i moved my accounts to a seperate DB.

>.< OMG i feel like a noob. i remember reading, a few places, MySQL 6.0 isnt compatible with Ascent....and i was running MySQL 6.0. downgraded to 5 and uploading databases. will post back if it worked
