On my prtivate server the npc's that normally do quests, dont show the quest icon for ppl to start them. i just installed and setup ac-web 7.6 and i had this problem. can anyone plz help me. it dosnt show any npc do quests =/ tips plz ..... thx in advance

yeah i would update to the a older db but i jsut installed ac-web 7.6 and i dont know how to put my backed up accounts files and stuff i backed up with navicat how to put them back on after i update database

if i do execute batch file i get this error msg

well can you give me yours and also ... explain and help me dumb my logonserver ..... ik how to do that part but then i do execute batch file to put it back on and it fails says unsuccesful

lol, stupid question from me, but did u add them to the
"creature_quest_starter" and "creature_quest_finisher" tables?

They arent custom quest npc's .... they are the basic normal 1's so yes they are in there

Have no clue why u have quest and we dont i am using ncdb 1125 and trunk 4072 .

well, be sure you have these following tables in your db, not missing any1:
creature_quest_finisher
creature_quest_starter
quests

if not reinstall you repack.

Well I dont use repacks I compile my own and all tables u mentioned are there I have had this problem since around NCDB rev 1100 .

try and mix and match with quest databases as some are bugged, i would suggest updating but you already have, ill check my db for this problem

alter table quests add column RequiredTradeskillValue int(5) unsigned default 0 not null after RequiredTradeskill

Found this on ascentmu site it worked for me .

Can you plz explain more in detail of what exactly to do ... in navicat yes i opened quests in ascent ... now what lol
