Scirpting an ascent server? - 02-29-2008
Hi,

I have been using my server for about a month, and I just came back on to ask you guys if you knew how to script a server? By this I mean making it like Real world of Warcraft, Like when I attack Illidan, he responds like the fight in Real WoW (Just an Example.)

I have looked, but I can't seam to find one. Could you guys help me out?

What do you mean by Scripting an ascent server? C++? Lua? Compiling Ascent? Please explain a bit more.

you would need to learn LUA as its the easiest and quickest way to script some1 say illidan

C++ Is way more supported. It is also easier to debug your crashes(for me). I would go with a fully based C++ module script. We are not gonna code him for you, you need to learn C++ or LUA and read and study examples.

Alot of good(but crashy) examples are in Moonscripts.
