Just look at how u guys react if someone copies a thread of yours...

If you spent (possibly) millions of dollars on development of a game so that you could make profit, and some idiots start taking people away from your game with an illegal version of your game by stealing your hard work, THEN make money off of your work - you'd be pretty pissed off too.
I don't blame Blizzard a bit for what they're doing. I still pay $15 a month because even though I realize they're making monster profits - they made a great game and they deserve it. The next amazing game that comes out that trumps WoW will deserve it's huge profits too - it's not easy getting 11 million people to pay $15 a month for your game. Just take a look at all the games like AOC and WAR that everyone thought was going to ZOMGKILLWOW

Bli$$ may take out a few known and highly visible privately owned servers, but there will always be the underground, hard to find groups that do their thing.
This whole issue, even the one with the glider program is bli$$'s way of making an example out of a few people. Scare tactics 101 imho, you take out a few big fish and the little fish cower in terror. |
