Hi All

(I am running a server with the 2.4.2 patch, or the latest 2.4 anyways.)

I am new to the private server creation, as well as everything else, and I have been searching for some way to make a custom NPC Teleporter for my server. I have seen these in every wow private server that i have been on (wowgasm, epicwow, etc.) and was wondering if someone could help me with exactly how to do this.

I am not very good at the coding aspect of running a server, but I teach myself by learning from others that have coded the same thing (trial and error). Any help here would be awesome, I would also like to know if there is a custom npc teleporter creator? i've seen the npc creator, just wondering if there is one for a custom teleporter as well. (if so could someone please provide a link).

1 more question can this repack be updated to from 2.4.1 to 2.4.2 ? or is there a 2.4.2 repack available?

uh, to be honest i'm a fan of the whole source build, and as for the npc, you only need to jack the script for it to work i think.... i'll start working on a guide for it, might not be done for a bit, but i havn't seen a decent guide for noobs in a while, check back later tonight, or tommorow maybe,

That won't work venom, you will get a Version Mismatch if he doesn't use Chrispee's repack. If you need a script, here is one: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

oh good, now i don't have to re-write it, yeah i realized in retrospect you do have to do the whole version thing, such a pain... but i do know how to do it and all, I first mastered the teleport item XD, speaking of which, no response on that other guys thread, if you want a guide i have a thread somewhere, check my profile i guess

one thing though SectorSeven is the first link doesn't work, is there another link that u can give me as a script code? if not its fine, ill try to figure it out using the guide...

Right, there are plenty of nice custom teleporters that use sql and all, but i know how to do one that doesn't :O I spend way too much time with them, so I'd like to know what you want, either a slightly challenging BS walk through I make up in the next five minutes on the spot, or a significantly cooler, not sucky guide that will explain how to integrate an sql table into the code (easier and will eliminate loads of maintnance time later) so whats it gonna be?

Well Venum, u know what your doing and talking about, and as u can c i dont. A guide that will explain everything will most likely help a noob such as me. (lol)

or if you would like to really help me out, a script for a npc teleporter (leaving all of the coordinates blank) would be awesome too, but I don't want to push your generosity !!
