Hey, well i know C++ fairly well but i'm not sure how to use it in WoW private servers.
If anyone could post or link a guide on how to use it with WoW it would be greatly appreciated

I guess you actually want to make some scripts in C++ for a private wow server, that will anyway won't work proper and mostly will bug you mob. I highly recommend to not do it. Anyway you need some serious C++ knowledge and I don't think you'll find any guide on internet. However if you really want to try it and you know C++ very good I guess you could try use google.com for that.

C++ scripting for WoW (didn't even mention what emulator) is one of the easiest forms of scripting I know. Barely ever get errors too. Maby, did you ever think that you just suck at it :P

I don't make scripts for private servers since I don't have one. I rarely play wow but I know that if you just make a script that for example add some spells to Illidan mostly you will only bug the mob (like spaming some abillities or so). However I know some C++ (never did something for wow) and I'm pretty sure that if you don't know how to actually work with that you can't do to much useful things. I admit i may be wrong by I doubt it, since programming is programming even if you use it for a game or for a random program.

no he wants to create a private server.
Mate look in the emulator section

for some repacks.
C++ is if you want to edit the server

and you dont need to

So go into the emu section and find a repack
