OK did a quick search for clams on MMOwned and I was surprised to see nothing o_0 So I thought I would make a simple little post.

So first off you need the script, This is very very simple really. just make a macro and slap this in it.

Now whenever you click this macro it will search your bags for a clam and open it, But wont loot it (yet)

OK so now go to your interface options and click "auto loot" and set the loot button the CTRL. So now when you click the macro it will loot the clam

Now to tell glider to use the macro.

Open up your Keys.xml file (go to glider, click the keys tab and then press save. This will make the keys.xml) Now in keys.xml find this line

<Key KeyName="Common.PreCombat" BarState="Indifferent" ShiftState="None" Char="Undefined" />

Now change it to this

<Key KeyName="Common.PreCombat" BarState="Rest" ShiftState="None" Char="-" />

Now put the macro on your rest bar at the - key and go to Glider and reload your keys and Bingo, Clam opener

If your wondering why i put it on precombat its because if you put it on postloot it tends not to work all the time (lag ect)

malro can you make a guide to how to put the item for the glider to loot.Like
EXAMPLE:

CODE,LOOT,(name of item)

i know thats not a real code but can you do something like that +rep

Lootfilter simple addon.

What it does is Delete specified items or keep only specified objects.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Just unzip it and put it in your wow/interface/addons folder

when its installed log into wow and type /lf this will bring up the lootfilter window, the rest ots kind of obvious

Proflax you numb nuts Clams can have Gold pearls inside (30g on my server) i have gotten 3 so far with clam opener. Also a lot of other pearls.

nahh :P i have lootfilter installed so it only keeps pearls. Destroys the meat after its looted. and this Guide makes it so they dont waste bagspace :P

whoa whoa whoa, ur getting clams so where r u fighting? or r u fishing... if so u can use this with fishbot? im new with this auto it script stuff i dont understand it

Clams can drop off pretty much anything that's on a beach, And yeh you probably could use this with fishing.
