Its not allowed to check people's privacy by scanning harddrive, history etc. etc.
Even though if it did there would be tons of people getting banned, so I believe its not true.
I believe in Warden and what it 'does' but I'm almost sure it doesn't check other people's privacies.

A 'myth' is SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TRUE.

Also, unless you have hard evidence backing your case it's probably best to refrain from posting in threads with highly technical backings like this one. Unless you can prove that Warden does or does not do X, then just be quiet, or you'll get ripped to pieces.
P.S. You might also want to refrain from talking about that "Warden's 'not allowed' to do it because of privacy blah blah" bullshit. Unless you're a lawyer, just keep it to yourself. You're free to discuss it elsewhere, but this thread is here to discuss Warden from a technical viewpoint, not a legal viewpoint. |

Leave your unsubstantiated claims out of this thread. This threads information is based on technical analysis of the warden module, not guess work. |

I'm wondering about the following: With 2 clients running, Client 1 being played by a bot, client 2 being 'clean', would the 2nd client/account still be safe? In other words: Does Warden from client 2 scan client 1 aswell, or just it's own process? |

Instances of Warden are local to each instance of WoW.
Technically if you're cheating in one WoW and not the other then only one will get banned (with some exceptions).
However I guess if they wanted to they could do checks at ban-time and just grab all your accounts. Quote:

Whilst still not 100% the right word to use, the focus of the post was not to get the grammar perfect, it was to explain some truths and lies about Warden. |
