While ISXGenhack is a poor substitute for ISXWarden, it does work. Unfortunately, with no public release of ISXWoW, it now only works on private servers.

I was not a coder nor am I the owner of the bot, but I will say that I was working with the owner last year to release the bot in China - when the shite hit the fan.

No, isxwow was not released. There is a rumor (I have heard from more then one source) that Cypher has released a private version of ISXWarden. I spoke with Amadeus (of isxgames) who said he was willing to take over the ISXWarden project, however Lax firmly stated that Amadeus couldn't handle it. Lax has stated that he will not release ISXWarden anymore due to potential legal issues (see Glider vs Blizzard).

If someone were to make public (for sale perhaps) an isxwarden release, I am sure that Red would be willing to release isxwow as well.

Back to Rhabot... prior to it being released as opensource I contacted just about every qualified programer I knew including the owners of viperbot, mimicusa, zolofighter, wowemuhacker, among many others who might have been able to pull it off of the IS dependency and assurances I could keep them safe, no one was willing to take up the project. The owner of Rhabot does not have the expertise to make it interface directly with WoW, nor the time anymore.

I am not defending his selling of this bot as it is now, merely stating what I know about it.

1. No it doesn't work, private servers have no warden client. Durrrrrrr. ISXGenHack doesn't DO anything unless you feed it commands, its the same as feeding ISXWoW ISXEmptyExt or w/e. You can even just disable the ISXWarden check in ISXWoW.dll for the same effect. But the fact is IT DOES NOT WORK. Not getting a ban on a server with no warden client is a retarded justification for it "working".

2. Theres no public ISXWoW, so Rhabot cannot work. Even with a private ISXWarden you STILL NEED ISXWOW.

3. I think it would be more likely to happen in the reverse, noone is gonna throw an isxwarden out there on the off chance an isxwow will be released.

4. The IS 'dependency' is not a bad thing, it depends on ISXWoW, a product he doesn't have the knowledge to replicate. Pulling it off the ISXWoW is one thing, pulling it off the IS dependency would require a lot of pointless work when IS works just fine (I use it for some of my WoW stuff).

Futhermore, none of the public bots that are out (viperbot, mimcusa, zolo, etc) offer anywhere near the amount of advanced features as ISXWoW did/does, they would have to do a lot of extra work.

5. Lax himself is directly affected by this Rhabot bullshit. He gets IS subscriptions purchased on a regular basis, only to have them chargebacked because of complains that "Rhabot doesn't work". If Spry had any decency he'd pull the product, but he's just an ******* trying to make a few quick bucks.

I am not disputing you, merely pointing to what I know. Yes, it would take a lot more work, to move it off of IS, but to try to offer that, was a just point.

As for isxwow working on private servers, it works on older private servers, obviously not current ones.

However I have to agree with you, continuing to sell the bot when it does not work is crappy.

So did you make a private isxwow or isxwarden? Or are you going to avoid answering that?

Then you luckily dodged a bullet. The bot as it stood was less functional yet more expensive than the current Glider, and was sold on false promises from day one. It would have been a dismal failure in the chinese market, where they expect actual results for their money.

The current situation is simply an extension of the con, not a brand new thing.
