ya, anyone know if warden has the ability to catch this? I mean technically its just capturing packets, but then it modifies them, and sends them in game... right? (or do I have the idea wrong?)

so the only way warden could detect this is if it somehow knew the packets had been modified, or if WPE injects the packet in some way that's detectable... as they don't scan hdd's, I wonder if they scan memory.. (outside of WoW's memory space I mean)

old, But still very cool... Wish is wasnt detected :/
Been using for over an hour at once, not detected. The only problem is that if you die with the Alliance one on, it messes up how it finds your corpse and you have to disable the filter and relog.
The WPE process can be found from the process-list but the packet modification itself is done in ring 0 so take your bets.
I myself wouldn't use it on live, and I won't.
enjoy your ban...
WPE is one of the first programs that was on Blizzards black list...
Starting WPE on a live server is like spamming "Ban me" in /y... on GM-Isle... while a blue-coated bastard tries to speak with you...
