Yes folks! once again im bored, lazy and horny.
So to remedy my situation i thought id make a little script!
Basicly this scripy allows users to very easily backup their beloved WoW Settings (and other things if they wish) into a nice neat little Zip archive ^_^
It's writen in autoit so have included the source in the download.
This is also one of my only scripts that doesnt feature a GUI of any kind as i thought id leave all the settings up to a config file, makes things easier and more fluid.
So if you need to change any of the settings just open the WoWBackup_Config.ini and change we you want. Theres also a README.txt file included to explain some of the settings.
Known issues
Slow
Stupid progress bar thing at the top of the screen! (cant get rid of it even with flags set)
may crash if some of the settings are incorrectly set.
Things to add
Scheduled backups.
a customized progress bar!
maybe a RaR feature.
If enough people like this then i will consider adding a bit more functionality!
