@puppy most of my friends do every thing on restricted accounts, maybe that is just IT and engineer people. Vista UAC is even easier.

@apoc WoW can scan their own packets all day long, but there is no difference between bot inited actions and user inited actions. Restricted users can't access low level network drivers either.

So at least for glider users, running bot in guest mode or in Vista with UAC enabled will be much safer.
