Walliegabe is correct. There was indeed a ban wave that appears to have only affected Innerspace users and people who are using old versions of Glider. Old versions only. Hamut released a new version the day of the patch or the day after that is unaffected by it.

It's kind of funny. Innerspace constantly boasts that it is more undetectable than Glider, and yet Innerspace gets hit with this ban wave, and yet Glider is able to avoid it easily.

Its simple. lot of ppl with glider is always banned. there is normally 5 bans a day. With innerspace like once a week. Check the number of ban wave by glider and by innerspace ?

Innerspace is and will be always better than glider. This is a fact.

I survived, but I wasn't trolling with different versions.
I used 1.6.6 glider and 1.0.4c ppather.

I was using an updated version of glider, I didn't glider after the patch and waited for an updated version and guess what

Appearances can be deceiving.
What you said is an opinion, no more.. You have no facts/statistics to prove that IS was the only bot affected. You're forgetting that some glider members do not post their bans, for whatever reason.

Of course, this is only my opinion, and obviously not a personal attack on you.

Ok, ahead of time, sorry if I seem like an *******. Actually... nevermind.

If you don't know what you're talking about, please, don't bother posting.

Nobody has claimed that IS has better protection than Glider. (Although it's almost pretty well known that it is, I'll explain why.)

IS users have on average, 2 banwaves per year. (Glider has the same, sometimes 3) This is not including the last year when Blizz has stepped up their game and snagged both IS and Glider multiple times. (Twice in three months now)

Between banwaves, IS users get between 1 and 5 ban reports. (So we'll say 20-30 for good measure for non-reported ones)

Glider on the other hand gets 10-20 a week. (More for non-reported bans)

Mind you, I'm not taking into account the business end of these bot users. (Powerleveling companies, farming companies, etc. They have a much higher ban rate, and thus are not included for either program.)

Most of this chalks up to the user base. Glider is a great program, and very easy to use. But that brings quite alot of dumb people to it's user base. Which raises the ban rate exponentially. (1 click bots are just asking for a ban IMHO)

IS is the opposite, as well as the community. (Which is notoriously evil)


So yes, we do boast that we have less bans. Because the fact is, we do. (Check the ban threads on the ISXWoW and OB forums. A total of about 13 pages of bans from the past 2 years)

And as proved by quite a few other Glider users, Glider didn't avoid the wave itself.

Now, when you decide to stop being a glorified "WoW Lawyer" and step down off your high horse. Come back to reality and stop acting like you can construe false claims as truth. They don't work.

Edit: And for the record, you have Merc and Hamut protecting Glider. Only Lax writing IS/EQPlayNice/Fury/etc, maintaining them, writing ISXWarden for free, maintaining that for free, as well as providing support for everything he writes. It must be impossible that he's human and made a mistake! It just must be!
