Ok, so I'm sure everyone has, at one time or another, gone "Wow, it would be cool to play two copies of wow at once..." yeah... that was me until a few days ago. Fist i tried running two copies of WoW at once, which is pretty cool, but it gets really old really fast, because having to switch between WoW windows is no fun. Anyways, heres how to do it efficiently.

1. [Optional] Open up wow, log in, hit escape, go to video, and check that box that says run in windowed mode. (This just allows you to watch both screens at once.)

2. Download the autohotkey software at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. (This allows you to enter keystrokes into two windows without having them both active, meaning u can control both characters with one click of a button.)

3. Input the following script.:

4. Pick which character you are going to play on the most, and which one will be running in the background.

5. Limit you background windows max fps with "/console maxfpsbk 15" you can set it to any fps u want, but lower is better.

6. On both of you characters choose a toolbar slot to be empty. ( I chose 1) On the background one, make a macro such as

/stopcasting
/target (Main's name)
/follow (Main's name)
/assist (Main's name)

7. Assign this macro to another slot, doesnt have to be on the main toolnar since u wont be doing it often.

/script AcceptGroup()
/script AcceptQuest()
/script AcceptTrade()
/script RetrieveCorpse()

8. Assign similar attacks to similar toolbar slots

9. Have fun!!!

To do this u will of course need tow accounts. It help if the characters are similar level.
