I have never boted and got banned. I did however log onto my account on a roommates pc who had glider in his system tray not running. Blizzard said The account has been identified as
having used unauthorized game modifications and thus is in violation
of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. I have written them arguing the word USED. It would take 5 seconds of looking at my account activity and gear and whatnot to see I have not used my accounts for boting. I have never USED an unauthorized game modification. I did however log onto my account with glider in memory, but not being USED. I will let you know how my appeal goes.

Though I do have to ask, can this be done, in essence, like securing a scammed account? Like last night I called blizzard, had all the info for the account and did what they said and got pw and email reset to mine, could this possibly done, instead of this?

They don't ban on the basis of whether your character looks like it has been botted or not, it would take them years to go through everyones characters to see that. They ban on the basis of if you're running 3rd party software while WoW is running that's good enough reason for them to ban you, and they can ban you at their discretion whether you like it or not.

I'm seriously scared atm, just got home from school, see glider gone and the post up. I log in and my account is not banned. I was botting last night and through the morning.

Am I seriously lucky? Or should I expect the worst to come.

I was banned for Model editing today, not sure which one. It's not like they were "bad" edits to gain an unfair advantage.
