After you have your server running. You now have a choice to keep the server to yourself or make it public.if you want to make it public you in the right spot.

First go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and make a account.

After that go to my services. Make a new one choose your IP of choice.Then activate wild card. use the auto detected IP. and leave everything else as is.

Then after that go to your realms.conf that is in your ascent folder, and change the 127.0.0.1 with the IP you just made.

Now you to get people to make accounts on your site download WAMP :[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Next we need a account registration website template.These can be found using the search button on the forums.

After you find one extract the rar if its in one then copy all the folders. run WAMP click the WAMP icon in the system tray go to www folder. Paste the copied files in their. Now open the config file and index file and edit the Database information and site name information. After you do that click the system tray icon for WAMP again but this time hit put online. After that you can use the same IP you made earlier to access the website and so can everyone else.

Nice post, but a little more detail please.
What am i replacing the 127.0.0.1 with? the ip it autodetected or the name i typed in the box? and whit 127.0.0.1 am i replacing and am i leaving the others still the same?

i said to go into your realms.conf file that is in your ascent folder and change the Ips in their there should be 2 with the DNS you made. DNS = the anem you typed in box with .whatever you picked.

well it looks like I have the first problem. I have done everything you have said, and then double checked to make sure it is exact. when all the databases are loaded and it tries to connect to the logon server, it says connection failed retry in 10 seconds. what is the problem? I have replaced both of the ips in the realm.conf file and on the second one, I have removed the port from, put it back and any other conbination you can think of.

Maybe someone who got theirs to work can help too. fell free to assist the noob!
