Daniel's guide how to make weapons/items for your ascent server!

Its very simple to make weapons, armor,items, or even vendors for your ascent server!

The first thing you have to do is make sure you have a DB for your server. I recommed you use Navicat but SQLyog will work just as well to.

Next all you have to do is go to wow-v.com. Make an account there. After your account is ready go to wow-v.com and at the middle of the site will be a toolbar for the different pages. In the middle of the tool bar will be different pictures of different things( for example heres a picture of the weapon creator )Click on the object you would like to make.
After you have entered the stats you want for your item go to your desktop and make a new file called "Server Items". Then go back to the site, scroll down and you will see a code and under it, a button that says "Download Batch" click on that and save it in the file you made. After its done downloading (should take 1-5 secs only) open your DB. Double click on your DB name on the side. Then double click on ascent. Then right click ascent and click "Execute Batch File". Then click on the "..." open the file you made and open the batch file you downloaded and click start. When the bar stops loading it means the item has been loading into your server! Then all you have to do is restart your server and its there!

well when i try and make vendors when i think of a entry # none of them work it says SQL error: duplicate entry '12345' for key 1

Hmmm...Maybe there is already a npc/vendor in your DB with that entry ID try using a different ID for example I usally do 90000-99999 as entry IDs cause there not in my DB to start off with

I do As u say.. But it Dont work.. I dont find The items ingame.. But they get Loaded to the DB.. Whats Wrong?

Hmm...There could be a couple of reasons for that one of them is did you restart your server after you put them in your DB and make sure your entering the right ID if you did and its still not working make another post

It is still Not working.. It worked for 10 minutes.. i got added 7 items.. then it stoped working

Where is the execute batch button i cant find it after i right click any where on or off the ascent application. im on vista if that has anything to do with it

The DB is Navicat I put Download link at the top

and the execute batch button is not on the Data base you duoble click your data base then make sure you double click your ascent file. after you double clicked ascent right click it and execute batch file should be there

It was a bit confusing for me when you said:

"make a new file called "Server Items"."

You're making a folder called that.

I was also a bit confused when you said:

You're opening the DB editor thingie like Navicat, or whatever you use. Took me a bit to figure out what you meant.

And also when you said:

"Then click on the "..." open the file you made and open the batch file you downloaded and click start."

You're finding the batch file you put into your "Server Items" folder.

Great guide! There are some damned fun effects to play around with in the game ^.^
