Ok cool today we are going to make a wow private server!(by the way this is my 1st server post)I give full credit to spartan 4 his repack.Post if u need help hope i can assist u .And please tell me more experienced ppl how i can improve my guide First we need to download a few things

MySQL-[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Navicat lite (lite you can keep it 4 ever)-[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Spartans repack-[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Info on the repack-[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Winrar (4 extracting the files)-[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]


Now to the server

1)Extract WinRaR To your Desktop or where ever u want to put it
2)Open Mysql And Click Next And then Typical installation
3)click next till ur done with the installation
4)Then make sure u click Standard configuration
5)When you get to the security type your password as "root" (without the " ")
6)Click execute. If everything goes well we go to the next step
7)Now install navicat lite....When thats done open it and create a new connection...
8)Connection name-Anything u want
Hostname-localhost
Port-3306
User-root
Password-root

9)Double click ur connection. Then right click on it a menu will apear go to Create database,Name it ascent,make another database called ascentlogon.

10)Now open SpartanWoWRepack, There shud be 2 sql files,spdb and character, now right click your database in navicat ascentlogon, and click execute batch file, go to ur SpartanWoWrepack and Choose the Sql file Character. this shud take about 15 seconds, now do the same with the ascent database except instead of choosing the character sql file choose the spdb sql file, this will take longer

11)While thats loading go to ur SpartanWoWRepack And open up ascent3353, inside it well be several things. open up ascent.conf file, it should be named ascent and be a txt file, if not open it with notepad,open it

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "Password" Name = "ascent" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "Password" Name = "ascentlogon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

Change the Blue to root

12)
Open Logonserver.conf.

<LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
Username = "root"
Password = "Password"
Name = "ascentlogon"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">

Change the blue to root

Also Scroll down till you see

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "6739">


change the red to 9999

13) now make sure u Saved all those Conf files and Exit them.

14)Once The files are done Downloading go back to navicat and double click ascentlogon, tables will show up on the side, double click accounts,
For the acct column leave it blank, for login, type the username you want to login with, for password, the password you want to login with, for GM, the gm level, 1 is real low powers 2 is higher 3 is full gm powers and az is admin, so set it az.(l8r on youll find letters mean different things but this is basics) now scroll more to the rite and for flags type 8 for burning crusade and 0 for regular. click the checkmark in the bottom rite and exit

15)in spartanwowrepack, ascent3553 or whatever double click logonserver the white box with a blue bar until it says hooking signals, then double click the ascent box and wait till it finishes and says authetication suceeded, then go into C:\Program files\World of warcraft and open realmlist.wtf with notepas, erase everything in it and type set realmlist 127.0.0.1 and save and exit.

16)Now log onto wow with the acct u made

but 1 thing when i type .modify speed 200 or what ever it says that speedhack is found and i get kicked how can i fix it?

to stop it from d/c'ing you go into your server file and open ascent. Then in there scroll down and find this...

<AntiHack Teleport="1"
Speed="1"
FallDamage="1"
Flying="1"
DisableOnGM="0">

change it to...

<AntiHack Teleport="0"

FallDamage="0"
Flying="0"
DisableOnGM="0">

And you won't get d/c'd for going fast using blink(as a mage) or flying

Great Guide! But one problem... When I try to make a char I D/C. When I look in LogonServer Files it says I am banned... for the person who can help this.

sORRY I HAVNT PAID ATTention to this post of mine Okei ur probaly getting D/C'ed because maybe your WoW doesnt support the server above 2.3.x or you have 4gotten to put the maps in the repack hope this helped
