Install/View The Folowing:

Hamachi - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

MySQL - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Navicat - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

SpartenSP's Repack - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

SpartenSP's Repack Info - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]


1.
Download MySQL and select Configure MySQL now then hit finsih. after that click standerd then hit Install As Windows Service then put the Service name as MySQL4 then hit Launch the MySQL Server automatically. then hit next now chose a pasword and hit Enable root access from remote machines then hit next, hit execute and finish, now onto the next step.

ok, now Download whatever repack you are useing, in this guide i will be useing SpartinSPs repack, after it is done you will need to open your realms.conf file, at the bottem make it say:
<Realm1 Name = "Your Server Name"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

then save and close.

open your logonserver.conf file, and scroll down to where you see <LogonDatabase Hostname = "localhost"
Username = "root"
Password = "Your MySQL password"
Name = "ascentlogon"
Port = "3306"
Type = "1">

keep scrolling down to
<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "9999">
Next open ascent.conf and find

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "Your MySQL Password" Name = "ascentlogon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">
<CharacterDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "Your MySQL Password" Name = "ascentlogon" Port = "3306" Type = "1">

Open Navicat, create new database name it ascent and then open it and Execute Batch file then find the spdb.sql file in ur repack then let it go, then create another database called ascentlogon and execut the Charecter.sql into it. and now you have an offline private server that only you can get on,

Makeing It Public

Install Hamachi and configure it. now create a new network and go into your ascent.conf file. look for

now go into your realms.conf and find

<LogonServer Address = "Your Hamachi IP"
Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">

keep going down to

<Realm1 Name = "Your Server Name"
Address = "Your Hamachi IP:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

save and close. now go into your logonserver.conf and find

<Listen Host = "Your Hamachi IP"
ISHost = "Your Hamachi IP"
RealmListPort = "3724"
ServerPort = "8093">

i keep gettin Sql query failed due to [Table 'ascentlogon.quests' doesnt exist] Query: SELECT * FROM quests and its not just with quests, i have just over 30 Sql query's failed and have no idea what to do, going on 12 hours trying to figure out how to setup server for very 1st time lol

I wish that did the trick lol thanks though, its more of a problem with not having the files anywhere that it says im missing to put into ascentlogon, for some reason there are no tables for quests, graveyards, teleport coords, itempages, worldmap info, items, zonequards, npc text, playercreateinfo, spelloverride, spell disable, spells 112, spellextra, monstersay, npc gossip textid, reputation, gameobject spawns and another dozen or so more, if you know where i can find these files i would greatly appreciate it

and there is no realm.conf in my bin foulder under um mySQL properties if that is what it means

I can't get this dang thing to work >.< i did everything you said, and it worked, till i tryed to log into the game, it goes for like 3 seconds and stays at hand shaking, this is before i even get realmlists, can you please help me out?
