INSTALLATION GUIDE

HOWTO SETUP AN ASCENT SERVER
---------------------------------------------------------------

This server repack is designed for use with the client and server on the same machine...

MAKE SURE .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 IS INSTALLED!!!

1. Extract all the files and folders from Ascent v2.3.0 RePack [COMPLETE].rar into the current directory...
[Assume the current directory is 'C:/Ascent/']...

2. Use SQLyog, and create 2 new databases on your SQL server call them 'ascent_char' & 'ascent_world'...

3. Import the file '/SQL/database_character.sql' into the 'ascent_char' database...

4. Import the file '/SQL/database_world.sql' into the 'ascent_world' database...

5. Copy 'ad_.exe' into your v2.3.0 wow client installation folder...

6. Create a folder called 'maps' in your v2.3.0 wow client installation folder...

7. Run 'ad_.exe'... This will take sum time to extract all the maps...

8. Place the 'maps' folder from your v2.3.0 wow client installation folder into 'C:/Ascent/'...

9. Now we are going to configure the server...

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU READ EACH CONF FILE THOROUGHLY...

Open up ascent.conf file... and the enter your SQL server login infomation...

9. Open up logonserver.conf file... and the enter your SQL server login infomation...

10. LOCAL or LAN or WAN Setup...
Here is the spot to edit if you want to get your server networking or online...
Open up realms.conf file... you can modify the names if you like, not important tho...

11. Load up logonserver.exe and antrix.exe... They should load and stay open...

Now to setup ur client for connection...
