Welcome to Zealot and MoH's Guide for Making a 2.4.X Private Server.

Step One
First of all download AC-Web Repack 7.2 (I am using this to make things go faster)Download Link can be found below this Guide . You can also search for updates yourself [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Step Two
Everything is Ready on this repack.So Open Control Panel.exe and Click [LAUNCH SERVER].
NOTE: IF YOU DONT HAVE NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 INSTALLED, IT WILL NOT WORK

Step Three
Change your Realmlist.wtf (Found in your world of warcraft directory) from

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com 

To

set realmlist 127.0.0.1 

So, there you go, making a private server in less than 20 minutes. Have fun Playing.

Well, This goes fast.

BUT the files can Corrupt and you need to start on the begining. Thats boring.
But i think the guide is nice

i followed everything and did everything correctly but when i try to log in it sais "connecting" then "unable to connect", any ideas on what might be going wrong?

I got as far as "Click the Launch Button." When I click it I get an error, "This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found
. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

This has happened on every single private server creation that's gotten even this far. I'm lost on what to do. I've re-installed the application multiple times, and I have that Net Framework 2.0 you said we had to have. Please help me, I'd really like to make my own server.

Me too.

Google "download MSVCP71.dll" and then "download MSVCP72.dll" and place it in the system folder in the windows folder..
