i'm a big noob and i need some help.
i've followed the guide and done everything as it says. but when i connect to my server i instantly get disconnected and the character isn't saved.
could someone please tell me what to do?

it seems to be the patch version of ur wow copy, and plz next time read the previous posts before posting, the answer was just a page away... if it still doesn't work repost here and i'll try and help

Hey, razlken my server is working great but i only have one problem my GM commands arent working I was pretty sure that GM 3 was admin and 2 was moderator and 1 was normal player but when i set it to 3 and type '.modify speed 10 or .flymode on or .learn all' and alot more it tells me that its iether not a command (which they are) or that i dont have acsess to them which doesnt make much since being the Admin and all so if you could maybe explain the GM codes that are in the GM Handbook provided by the ricosrepack or what ever it is called and how i can use them it would be a great help


edit: i looked thru some stuff and i cant seem to find any GM commands in the Database but their is a Command overide which doesnt make much sence so maybe if that all thats wrong could you send me files for the ascent database that i can import that has all the commands from the GM handbook and stuff

I'm not sure why but i can logon to my server without a single prob and when i tell my friend to try (Ofcourse i made a few accounts) it tells him unable to connect. I said to my net provider to open all the ports on my router cuz they wont give me the pass to do this by myself. I dont know why isnt here a guide for ports forwarding. And is there any difference in 'Port FORWARDING' and 'Port OPENING'? This is the usual situation. I get it all to work but it works only for me.
And its strange cuz i can make servers in other games like Halo (I dont know if there's any prob mentioning the name of the game) and WoW serv doesnt work.
Maybe a miracle should happen for this but if anyone knows UN and PASS for BTC ADSL 2048 in bulgaria it would be super cool.
Btw 10x for the guide. After all it works at least for me. If someone is curious(not sure if thats the way to spell) my wow version is 2.3.0.

to make ur account gamemaster, open up navicat, go to the database "ascentlogon" and open the account table. the forth vertical tab should be "gm". type az in the cell you want to make that account a gm. in game type .command and it should display a list of commands dunno what they actual are used for don't really use them. check out this post u may find it useful [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

try this site for port forwarding>> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] >> give it a try but dunno if it's actually useful. i'm not really experienced in networks but u should be sure that ur friends firewalls or routers don't reject the connection, but if u already tried with them other games then dunno.

if you are using the service at no-ip.com im not sure but i was reading thru some stuff and it was talking about becoming a member to ensure clear connections and i thought it was dumb cause it worked fine for me but then after hearing this its iether that or maybe ur firewall is blocking his address so try reconfiguring your firewall if you have one other wise i dont really know maybe what razlken said will help more he seems to kno what he is doing with this stuff(as u can see im a site n00b =] lol) just a suggestion

thnx razlken got my GM acc working now i tryed that earlier dont know why it didnt work but i just redid the thing cause i tryed a seprated re-pack but it wasnt good so i got back this one

This is a very great guide and very easy to follow im all done only thing i dont know how to create and account, i go in the ascent, accounts on the navicat and im just not sure what to put in all the fields, any help thanks.

working great just like to know a few things, im not sure how to add items to my bag and stuff like that and is it possible to have more than 1 repack? this repack is awsome but i have seen other good ones too is it possible for me to have more than just one repack on my server? if so how would i go about adding it to my server?

i think that this emulater needs .net framework installed on the pc.
before i installed the .net my server was kicking me instantly and the character i was making every time wasn't saved.
after i installed .net i was able to create a character and it was saved.then i connected to the server and the launchbar appeared. but right after it filled i got disconnected. i suspect that my system requirements aren't enough for hosting wow.

also could someone who made his server work tell me his system configuration?
