Got it working fine.

Although one strange thing, when i try to port to outland or through the dark portal im told "You must have the burning crusade installed" which i do. I have a real lvl 70 myself.

Any ideas?

Yes, you have to put an "8" in the section called "flags". That makes your account Burning Crusade'd.

You have to open up Navicat, GO to the Database Accounts, and then find the table accounts, And double click it, And look at your account, and all the way to the left, Find Flags and change it to 8.

I'm a big fan of MYSQL, how would one go about using MYSQL insead of Navicat? Since you have to do it all manually anyway, I wouldn't think it'll interfere with anything.

i followed the guide and none of the npcs work, they wont open up shops or anything interactive like that.

For some reason it says the [Ascent.Characters] Doesn't exsist .. Also when i made the character .. It doesnt appear .. :S

There's an npc-fix when you open the dos program and type "w" to load the world databases and what not. If you open it back up, it'll be pretty straight forward, I'm guessing that should fix your problem.

By MYSQL, I meant Sqlyog lol.

i installed the .net framework, and restarted and everything, and i still get the error when i try to install the repack. any ideas?

The program hasn't worked for me, what I've been doing is using the tutorials and installing it manually from the program files.

Read my post above yours, Arovian. Herley, I tried to do this with SQLyog, using your old guide but all of the files (except SQLyog) from this guide. I keep getting this:

In the accounts table, I have my username and password as well as Az in the cell after password, but i go to use the .tele command and it says "no such command, or you do not have access to it" how do i get the .tele command to work or is it different on an Ascent server cause i'm used to mangos.
