Why does this happen to me TT_TT (Go to Youtube and seatch "tkdfreak92" and click on the video that says "Making WoW Private Server Problem!")

God Bless! | well your video is too blurry to read exactly what it says, but from the VERY limited info I have here, I would suggest 2 things. 1) go thru MySQL and make sure you are using the correct password (Doubt that's it but maybe). and
2) go back and check all the config files, I am thinking you missed something in there. Just cross reference to the config layout in the guide, or you could also look at the ones I did for BMXer on the previous page (maybe 2 pages ago), the password would be the only thing you would do different. .

**edit #2** Well, I have been poking around the net a bit and....well...maybe it is NOT the DB that is the problem. I just went to Arcemu's wiki & tried the main page & found out it has been hacked! So, I am sure a bunch of the compile parts have been fubar'd. And if you are like me, you update the SVN pretty often so THAT is probably why I am having problems, as well as all of you who have tried to set-up recently. It was Hacked by "spectre", I believe he is one of the many a-holes from Wowlegacy who just can't seem to leave other WoW sites alone. (sigh)
**edit #3** O.K. guys, they have Arc back under control, I updated everything today (Thursday) and rebuilt all of it & I DID get into & create a toon in my server, ran around a bit so you all should be able to get yours working now. BUT, there is still something wrong, every attack on any mob is a miss every single time! now THAT seems like a DB problem...but at least we can get in?   .

To get to them, they are in the SVN folder you made and the tree goes like this: "SVN\ArcEmu\trunk\extras\arcemu-windows-libraries".
BTW, I already gave this info in a previous post, all ya got to do is read all the pages  .

I will say this, others have set up their servers since I did mine & have said nothing about the problem so I would guess WhyDB fixed it. 
All you can do is try it & see. .

Reputation: 1 | | | I gave up on WhyDB and ended up with RivalDB. Seems to work now with items showing proper stats and being able to attack with weapons. |
