Anyone could help? appreciate it! |

Reputation: 36 Level up: 88%, 88 Points needed | | | | well, thats because you didnt save the gameobject when you spawned it. do this, lets say my portal spawn id was 10000. i would type in this command. .go spawn 10000 1. All i do is add a space and a 1 after the spawn id.

I did find one minor "bug" though: I spawn my portal (the one that ports to goldshire), it works perfect but when i use the portal, hile it is charging up, it says "teleport to Goldshire." I change the name of the portal in both the "Game_Object Names" table and the "Teleport_Coords" but that does not seem to take affect, does anyone know if there is any way to change what the portal says as it is charging up?

Unfortunately, i know no way to change a spell, and the displayid of it, unless you use something along the lines of model editing, but im not sure. Anyway, i know its impossible to change the loading bar, and txt in it if y ou are changing that one portal, because you are not changing the spell, only the portal itself.

Reputation: 4 Level up: 4%, 481 Points needed | | | | You are forgetting something, to create a TRUE new portal you must do it in C++ and not lua or a database edit, that way you don't worry about modify existing spells and stuff plus you can fix the orbs of translocation if they are messed or not functioning at all...of course the bad side of this is that C++ is not very noob friendly.
I can post an example of how to do it in a new thread if you like. I have made portals to all the main cities this way and fixed nearly all the orbs of translocation. |

| If you want to get rid of the name, just make the spell an instant cast, it can be done with a dbc editor setting the casting time to=1 |
