Reputation: 4 | | | Metalmonster plz stop spamming, there are hamachi guides. and this is how it works... on hamachi you create your network... have your brother get hamachi as well. but have him join your channel, instead of him making one as well. now that you both in the same hamachi network. both of you set your realmlist the the hamachi ip of the person running the server. you can find that at the top of you hamachi screen. and to the person who couldn't configure mysql... if you have it installed either go to start , programs , mysql , mysql server 5.0, then go to mysql server instance config wizard. or go to where you downloaded it to ie : C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin and click on the same thing there. hope that helps. |

Reputation: 4 | | To make yourself a gm go into navicat, go to the world database , then accounts table, then you should see a list off all the accounts, their passwords, and then an encrypted password column (dont worry about that) then you see a gm column... to make an account an admin account, type in that column az. and to change things such as kill rate and drop rates, go to where you downloaded your accent, go to the configs file and open arcemu-world, and scroll down about half way, there you can change those types of things about your server. Have Fun  Oh and hey Apple do you know how to save game objects on the server. everytime mine shuts down they go away...

Reputation: 1 | | | Congrats Apple on making the pack... I was looking at the Crater also for making the forts (Alliance and Horde) into a fully fleshed city with trainers and quests.
Interesting though as how 7 pages of this thread are questions and answers that are found elsewhere in the forum.

I may be a noob, but at least I learned and studied before asking the same questions for the 20th time.
easy to add new users (manual and through website)--- tutorial!!! look it up
easy to make server public--- tutorial!!! look it up
if you haven't looked through the forums... don't ask.
Can't log in?? probably a config issue in one of the conf files. OR, one of the three main programs aren't working (MYSQL, world, logon) or turned itself off... check and check again.
watch for errors on startup of those files.
I have tried out over 10 different repacks, and these are the most common reasons for the errors I've seen reported over and over again in this thread...
Again, Apple, thank you for all of your hard work, I don't think you should be answering these redundant questions though. +rep for the work and +rep for the patience with those who are not.  |
