Reputation: 4 | | | Apple you did a great job! i don't think there was one spot were i got stuck at, except the downloading problem... but u fixed that. great guide it works very well. If you guys want a blizzlike server then just go change the world config folders and delete all the portals and npc's he has up. it wouldn't be that hard. or wait for someone to make one, or go find one thats been made already that already has like 300 people on it. Hey apple, do you know how to make it to where gm's can .mod level to 250 but everyone, non-gm, has to stay at the set level? and sorry for all the questions, but how do you make people start with certain items or skills? oh wow thx for the rep... wasn't expecting that. |

Mysql instance config wizard, do a standard and go through that to set a password. if mysql doesnt start either it is because you didnt do that or something went wrong in the instaling process, first you should try that instance config wizard, if it still doesnt run then reinstall. |

Reputation: 4 | | (sorry for so many posts) a good hint... when you stuck on connecting, sometimes its good to let it sit for a few seconds like 5 or 10 or so, then click cancel it sometimes brings up the server selection ( like us oceanic euro ) click the boxes and it will take you to your character selection screen.. it usually happens when you first start up your server. if you ever get stuck in connecting its allways worth a try, if not then you got a problem  . |

Reputation: 1 | | | Sunwell Plateau Seems to be messed up.
I was able to get in the the Sunwell Isle, and everything is fine, except to 25 man raid for that area. Everytime i enter the first room, just past the entrance, my client locks up, (not the server). But the only way to get out of that lock up is to shut down my system, and reboot. Have you had the same problem, or is it just my system. That is the only instance that I have trouble and can't deal with.
p.s. There are other scripts that seem to be messed up, but none to the point that I can't work around it. Great job, and if you haven't been told lately, you are DA BOMB!!!!  |

But after 2.4.3 came out my server is weird, its stuck at connected, and so it were for all my friends when they tried to connect, i read a little and found that its because Blizz have crypted the patch, but anyways;
In my 2.4.2 database i got A LOT of custom things i want to keep, if i execute this into my database would it get f00ked then? With double mobs etc or something?
(Would appriciate if you could send me a PM when you have replied to this thread, and ofc  for you if you can give me a good answer ^^) |
