Haha but seriously nice guide definentally +rep, very understandable and you actually have a way to change the database, unlike some other weird guide i tried.
oh and apple do you think you could make a guide on how to make the server public, seeing as you have already done that, it might be kinda easy. you don't have to but it would be nice.

Then when i go to program and try to run it, it says "the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect....... and yes im on vista |

I downloaded this, and love it. Comes with a premade area for higher leveling. A few custom venodrs are nice, but I think I will add a few more. The only thing I couldn't get was the Sunwell Island. I couldn't fly there from Ironforge, nor fly there with .cheat. Not sure how to make it active. Any chance for a few pointers on here?

Reputation: 4 | | | desecrated, you must use navicat, early in the guide it told you to execute the batch file into navicat, there you can manage most things of the server, such as accounts, npc's, items, etc. go into the world database in navicat, and look to the screen to the right, theres a bunch of tables in a list that you can double click to open up. the accounts table should be pretty early in the list. there should be one open space to put the first account. then down below at the bottom left theres a few buttons, click the + sign to create another space to put an account. remember on the first space on the accounts table put either 1,2,3,4 etc then the next section over put account name etc. like it says. flags = 8 for burning crusade. for the gm spot put az to make the account an admin and i dont know how to make a lower powered gm. (leave blank to make a regular account) and thats pretty much it. | | |
