Wow Guides Good places for GM malls - 07-23-2008
I haven't posted any emu post in a while so I thought I should again.

NOTE: No place is truly safe from hackers...(I am one myself) The best defense is secrecy. Have your gms keep quiet about the mall, or else they will lose their powers

Places
1. Underwater in a remote location (such as by the swamp of sarrows in the ocean)

2. Instances...who goes in BRD in a private server?

3. Underneath orgrimmar or stormwind

4. In some distant mountain range

5. Right in plain sight!...make the npcs very very small until you can not see them. Make it where you have to use a macro to select them.


Hopefully many private server admins/gm find this useful. Please leave your feedback if this was helpful, useful, or etc...

Wrong, using maps that require teleports to get to them are the way to go, the only way to get to them is if a GM summons a player to them, also you can modify their factions to be creature or whatnot and make GMs mod their faction to 35 to use the mall. I dont recall finding any hacks for teleporting to other map IDs in recent patches or any hacks that change your faction.

mmhelm....there are model edits to emerald dream...so, yes even I can get there without gm powers...as for changing the gms faction...I have not tried that

I have not heard of a Model edit to get to a private servers Emerald Dream map. Can anyone else confirm this? Instance swapping is just changing the textures to that of ED but not actually taking you to the actual map. Using WPE to change teleporter paths into ED is the same thing even though you show up on /who emerald forest. These are the only things I have heard of, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Changing faction wont help.. you will always be able to have a priest MC and then buy whatever you want..

You could just create level, lets say, 1000 elite guards next to the vendors that only gms can pass through using .invincible

Under Water is a bad idea. It can be longer then UD can breath, but what about Water Breath Elixer and Warlocks?
