Brilliant guide, installed really easily on my first try.

Dont know if this is place to ask but i have one problem, whenever I logout of a character they lose all their items. The models of the chars on the select char screen show their items equipped but when I actually enter the realm as a char they have nothing and are naked. Anyone know how to fix this? or point me in the right direction?

I tried this its actually quite a bitch to do. I mean the instructions arn't but the .sql files and the .config files reck my head when i try to config for public server for my mates IM SUCH A NOOB !

Thing is i used to have a wow mangos server about a year ago, but this is slightly different and more annoying hah but i've heard so much good about this build that i think it will be worth it

Hey the queldanas outside mobs when they attack u the server goes down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone know what happens????

Give yourself some little time to spend with the conf files and you should be abe to make it work .... in the same time try to read some others guides as well on how to make your serer public ...

Thats the error i get everytime. anyclue how to fix it? i couldn't message u cause i only have 6 posts

Do me a favor ... now that you still have this error ... go to start > run and type services.msc ... then go down on the list and tell me if the "root" service is started or disabled ... i may try a new approach to this problem ...
if it is and you know how to enable and start the service than do it if not i will post later ...

You check and see if you have >net Framework 3.5 installed if not you know what to do ...

There seems to be a problem with the IP Adress?:

Logonserver-exe error

and world.exe error

hi when i start the ascent-logonserver.exe it says something about the configuration is wrong and i should try to reinstall the program, how do i fix it?

ok well i have it working but when i type in my account name and password it brings me to the realms list, so i click on my server and it will get stuck at "logging into game server" any idea...

check the passwords and the other cofigs very careful ... it must be some mistake there ... andthe password that you have used in the conf files should be exactly the same as with the service that you have created ... like "root" ...

i am going into the apples ascent file, clickon on "database files" but it sends me to another list and it says world_updates, so i try to open that but then it opens a list of all this crap.

How do i find the files i need to execute and execute them?

Sorry I already solved it (thanks 2d). I downloaded the latest .conf files through Tortoise SVN and it worked after I did that

I did Format my computer not too long ago, It works on my laptop. I'll test it out. Thanks. It seemed to work. If i'll have any questions i'll just ask you. Thanks a bunch =)
