you would have to download a database that has mobs in sunwell, or you have to config your own database etc but that rquires some time

yes start up you MySQL and redo the install etc and select a new username and password, i suggest you use this program for setting up MySQL combined with Navicat or SQLYOG

I got the actual server running but when I try to log in to wow on a character, it freezes at the loading screen. I don't think its client-based but to be sure I'm going to try to connect from a different ip. Any theories?

UMm DB work, it works to open WORLD and LOGON, no errors. Only thing is that i can't loggin. I changed the pass of my acc in Database and name. Still dosent work..

I got a problem with this thing i've had it work like 4 times before but i reinstalled windows the other day and now it dosen't work at all i get the unterminated block error when i run the world.exe file ive changed the nessecary things + adding a " after the motd thingy. But if i instead keep the remote password at ascent i get past the error but get a failure to connect due to wrong remote pw. And if i have the remote pw is my real one i again get the unterminated block error some1 know what im doing wrong?
I've even tried to change the pw on MySQL and navicat to ascent and still i don't get it to work. Would be thankful for help.

PS: This guide rocks... atleast when i get it to work -_-

Okay, I'm not sure if I'm the single most dumbest person on this thread so far, but why can't I after configuring MySQL, all the databases etc. establish a connection to 'logonserver on 127.0.0.1:8093' when I launch my ascent-world.exe? I'm sure I have my MySQL server running and I've tried to launch the ascent-logonserver.exe beforehand launching the ascent-world.exe but it still can't connect. Also, I've configured my firewall so it shouldn't be the problem. Can someone help?

Umm ok.. as normaly ive beem an idiot. Does anyone know how to revive pass for you MYSQL server? The name of my Server is rawrchicken. And my latest post i said i was connected to DB.. but i connected to ROOT and that server has no pass.. Thanks! mmkay
