So Antrax do you think that it is my hosts files that are wrong or ? if it is, can you help me how to edit them ? i really want this done

husku what exactly comes up and tells you that you cant edit the hosts. Are you on a user account or an admin

Well it tells me that i dont got rights to change anything in this file, when i try to just save as and then choose that folder :C/windows/system32/drivers/etc it says that i dont got rights to save anything in this folder, and im on my admin account on this computer. Can you tell how to "hack" it ?

Anthrax i found out a smart way to change my hosts files, i changed the realm.conf to my DNS and changed my realmlist to my DNS and then try to log in, i can log in, but anyone else cant, what have i done wrong ?

I dont understand your config files bit..... the 127.0.0.1 that is in red... what do i do with this??? change it all to my chickenip???? i dont understand

Nik321 you need to only change the realm one to your chicken IP the rest leave it to 127.0.0.1 and in the "allowed IPs change both of them to 127.0.0.1/32

I type that in and when i open serv and try log in it still brings up realm-list then i double click it (ive double clicked em both) it ses loggging into game server then brings realmlist up again.... aaaaaaaaagh it drives me insane!!!!

JUst so we are clear.. your internal ip is 192.168.1.1?

No thats not your internal IP go to run and type in cmd and type ipconfig find IP Address thats your internal ip.
