Azeon, i will confirm that it DOES work on 2.4.x servers. I'm on it right now in my server.
To get it to work on 2.4.x, the file is named "Patch-4.mpq"... rename it to "patch-4.MPQ".

Notice, all i did was lowercase the "P" and put the extension in caps.
I tested this on my Ascent server, version 2.4.x.

Running Ascent r4336 on 2.4.2 and I can get to both freely.

i know you have to change mpq to MPQ but thx anyway

Honestly, this should work on any server. First off, it's a client modification... not a server one.
So you don't need to worry about it not working on a certain type of server. Unless the server is so screwed up it changes the Map IDs... So anyone posting it doesn't work, is just a noob because they can't install it.

i never said you have to instal something BUT make sure the development area is added to the DB or it will say instance not found

this not working i still got error do and data base was 451 and i chance that 452 and put prog 451 therre is worldportmap_info table. my server is 2.4.2 and its [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] 2.4.0

It worked like a charm for me. I'm on Ascent 2.4.2. I just renamed the file as "patch-4.MPQ" (similar to the ones already there) and i got everything working
