Yea i agree i put the others back to 0.0.0.0 and it fixed them so he was wrong! and can 2dgreen can you help me then? i have ventrillo and msn if you wish to talk in another way. im just trying to get my server public... i have been for the last few days!! im not a noob and not a waste of time. doubt i can make it worth you time but just wanted to know if ya could help.

Got everything to work.. just when i get to the realm list it gets stuck at logging into game server! i can post my config files if ya want.

This isnt a fail, this is how I get my server to work.

You guys dont realize that if you follow the guide and dont mess with different options it works.

this is from step 1 to public. I was on hamachi for 5 weeks and then finally did this. If you got nothing good to say, stop trying to hijack a post.

fine ill stop posting here, i just wanted to stop people from changing things in their conf's that wasn't necessary, thus making it not go public. However i see that you have it covered.

127.0.0.1 yourservername.hostnameyouchose
Router IP yourservername.hostnameyouchose
CHICKENIP yourservername.hostnameyouchose


is the "yourservername.hostnameyouchose" the DNS SERVER you made earlier?

also I got my server to work mostly, gets to the realmlist and wont go past it, just loops back to it...I see lots of other people asking the same question and no one is answering....can we get an answer for everyone on this error please?

doesnt give an error message, when you select your realm and try to go in it says logging into server then goes back to the realmlist screen...you stated how to fix this up front but I already checked my config files many times, as far as i see its the same as what you said to put it at, yet I cant get in

Alright, so if you are realm looping, thats an easy fix.

Go into your realms config, and edit these sections. Your server may need different settings, this is just what worked with mine. Get a friend to continue to try and log in, chance these setting, resart the server and keep trying.




<Realm1 Name = "Realm Name"
Address = "xx.xxx.xxx.xx:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">


xx.xxx.xxx.xx try and replace this with several different options, ie

0.0.0.0
127.0.0
Your chicken IP (which it should already be)
Your router IP (ex 192.168.1.1)
Your IP (ex 192.168.1.100)

well when i change to my ip i can come in but my friends still can´t :S?? help??
